Welcome to the 2^nd ICLLT-2021

We are pleased to invite you to the 2^nd International Conference on Light and Light-based Technologies (2^nd ICLLT-2021), which will be held at the Gazi University, Ankara (Turkey), from 26 to 28 May 2021. The ICLLT-2021 conference is currently planned as an online event.

Light and light-based technologies are present everwhere in modern life, from communications to life sciences, space application, information processing, and varius industrial and military applications. 

As World Light Day (May 16) is celebrated every year by scientists and engineers around the world, the and especially the Photonics Application & Research Center and Department of Photonics of Gazi University, to commemorate this day, in coordination with the UNESCO Representation in Turkey, holds an annual International Conference on Light and Light-Based Technologies. The first gathering was held under the title "Light and Light-Based Technologies Workshop" on 15 May 2018. The ICLLT will be held annually from 2021.

The 2^nd ICLLT-2021 conference targets guests from various branches and disciplines related to Optics and Photonics Technologies. Its interdisciplinary approach is the key to maximizing the potential and development of light-based technologies and tools for various applications. The purpose of the conference is to explore new ideas, effective solutions, and collaborative partnerships for business growth by catalyzing the creation of a beneficial synergy between researchers, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, and end-users of all sectors and making full use of this potential.

​ICLLT-2021 conference themes are axed on Photonics, Spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, lasers, and quantum optics. During the 26 to 28 of May, inspiring speakers from industries, academies, governments, and societies will shine the light on new challenges, bringing global statistics and success stories about cutting-edge science and technology. During the conference, participants are invited to show their prototypes during the online exhibition.
